Developed a schema sanitization feature for the moltbot/moltbot repository, focusing on ensuring Gemini compatibility by filtering out required fields not present in schema properties. The work centered on robust schema normalization using TypeScript, with comprehensive unit testing to validate the solution across multiple schema scenarios. This approach improved the reliability and interoperability of tool schemas, directly supporting business needs for compatibility and future extensibility. Emphasis was placed on increasing test coverage and preparing the codebase for continuous integration, thereby reducing the risk of future regressions and enhancing maintainability.
