Developed and integrated Wiktionary StarDict dictionary data into the koreader/koreader repository, enhancing offline dictionary functionality for the project. The work involved implementing automated post-extraction cleanup routines in Lua to remove downloaded archive files, thereby optimizing storage usage and maintaining efficient asset management. Focused on data integration and dictionary management, the approach ensured that new multilingual dictionary resources could be added with minimal storage overhead. By streamlining file handling processes and emphasizing storage hygiene, the contribution laid a foundation for future expansion of dictionary features while maintaining the project’s performance and scalability. No bug fixes were recorded during this period.
