Zhiyu developed an automated issue translation workflow for the rustfs/rustfs repository, targeting improved international collaboration and streamlined issue triage. Leveraging GitHub Actions and YAML, Zhiyu implemented a CI/CD pipeline that detects new issues and comments, then translates non-English content in real time using the usthe/issues-translate-action. This automation reduced manual translation overhead and enabled faster support for global contributors by integrating translation directly into the issue management process. The work demonstrated practical application of CI/CD and workflow automation skills, focusing on operational efficiency and inclusivity. Over the month, Zhiyu delivered this feature without addressing bug fixes, reflecting targeted project depth.
