Worked on the streamnative/terraform-provider-streamnative repository to enhance the CI workflow for external contributors by implementing external pull request testing support. Leveraging GitHub Actions and YAML, introduced a mechanism using the pull_request_target trigger to allow continuous integration to run on external pull requests when labeled 'ok-to-test'. This approach streamlined the onboarding process for outside contributors, reducing friction and accelerating feedback cycles by ensuring that only approved external submissions triggered CI runs. The work focused on DevOps practices and CI/CD automation, resulting in a targeted code change that improved validation efficiency for upstream contributions without compromising repository security.
