During October 2025, Yah Liu developed a new data protection capability for the stolostron/multicluster-global-hub repository, focusing on configuration management using YAML. Yah enabled the Node Agent and integrated a Kopia-based uploader into the data protection workflow, reducing manual configuration and improving backup reliability through Kopia’s immutable storage model. The work involved updating the dataprotectionapp configuration to align with the latest release, ensuring that backups are more efficient and recovery processes are streamlined. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the feature delivered depth by addressing both operational efficiency and reliability in the repository’s data protection architecture.
