Developed a new Data Protection capability for the stolostron/multicluster-global-hub repository by enabling the Node Agent and integrating a Kopia-based uploader into the existing workflow. This work focused on updating YAML-based configuration management to streamline backup processes, reduce manual intervention, and improve reliability through Kopia’s immutable storage model. The implementation aligned the dataprotectionapp with the latest release requirements, ensuring more efficient and consistent backup and recovery operations. No bug fixes were recorded during this period, as the primary focus was on feature delivery. The work demonstrated depth in configuration management and effective use of YAML for infrastructure automation tasks.
