Worked on the JetBrains/koog repository to implement runtime configurability for OpenAI moderation workflow routing. The contribution involved making the moderationsPath property mutable within the OpenAI integration, allowing dynamic assignment of the moderation requests path during runtime. This technical approach, developed using Kotlin and backend development practices, enables teams to experiment with different moderation workflows in production-like environments without requiring code changes. By shifting to a configuration-driven model, the work improved maintainability and flexibility of moderation routing. The update supports safer experimentation with OpenAI moderation policies and allows for faster iteration, addressing evolving requirements in backend moderation systems.
