Developed and delivered a Sun-Based Brightness Control Usermod for the samyk/WLED repository, enabling dynamic adjustment of LED brightness according to the sun’s position throughout the day. The solution incorporated a sun-tracking algorithm and allowed users to configure minimum and maximum brightness, update intervals, and a relaxation period around sunrise and sunset. Built using embedded C and C++, the work demonstrated expertise in firmware development, embedded systems, and IoT integration. This feature improved lighting control for plant growth and ambiance, enhanced energy efficiency, and provided robust configuration management, with no major bugs reported during the development and deployment period.
