Worked on the lokalise/node-service-template repository to optimize Docker build processes, focusing on improving CI/CD efficiency and production reliability. Leveraged Dockerfile and BuildKit features to implement caching strategies, including cache mounts for the pnpm store and a cache-aware layer layout, which reduced cold build times. Reorganized the Dockerfile to enhance build stability by adjusting the order of environment variables and metadata, minimizing unnecessary layer invalidation. Added OCI labels to improve image traceability and support reproducible deployments. The work demonstrated a strong command of containerization, DevOps practices, and Docker, resulting in more predictable builds and streamlined production workflows.
