Worked on security and reliability improvements across nextcloud/android and mudler/LocalAI, focusing on backend and mobile development using Go and Kotlin. In nextcloud/android, implemented strict end-to-end encryption metadata validation with a fail-fast approach, ensuring that corrupt metadata is immediately rejected to maintain data integrity and secure file transfers. For mudler/LocalAI, enhanced the model loader by excluding GGUF and GGML files from model listings, increasing accuracy and reducing operational noise, with comprehensive tests to validate the changes. These contributions strengthened cryptographic safeguards, improved data validation, and demonstrated a test-driven approach to maintaining robust, secure, and reliable codebases.
