Developed server-side validation in Python to prevent stock updates when saving debit notes, reducing the risk of financial and inventory discrepancies. Improved the user interface using JavaScript by consolidating visibility logic for the update_stock field, ensuring clarity for both debit notes and subcontracted items. Added comprehensive unit tests to safeguard against regressions and expanded documentation with detailed docstrings. This work streamlined user workflows, improved maintainability, and reinforced backend reliability, demonstrating a strong command of both backend and frontend development as well as rigorous testing practices.
