Worked on the OrchardCMS/OrchardCore repository to enhance the admin interface by delivering a dark mode sidebar navigation hover improvement. Focused on increasing visibility and contrast for the third-level navigation item, the solution involved updating SCSS to target the .item-label selector rather than anchor tags, ensuring that hover effects improved readability without altering link behavior. CSS and SCSS were used to refine theming and maintain a consistent user experience. After implementing these changes, admin assets were rebuilt to guarantee deployment integrity. This work improved accessibility and usability in dark mode, reducing user effort and supporting more efficient content management workflows.
