During December 2025, Ybeapps developed and maintained the SourceGit cask within the Homebrew/homebrew-cask repository, focusing on packaging a new SourceGit GUI client for both ARM and Intel macOS architectures. Leveraging expertise in Ruby, Homebrew Cask, and macOS development, Ybeapps implemented architecture-specific dependency handling and cleanup instructions, ensuring robust installation and removal processes. The work included a targeted refactor to consolidate architecture details, update binary URL definitions, and eliminate redundancy, which improved the cask’s maintainability and consistency. These enhancements reduced future maintenance overhead and minimized packaging errors, demonstrating a thoughtful approach to cask management and DevOps best practices.
