Developed and integrated a Dify RAG provider within the deer-flow repository, expanding the system’s retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) backend options to improve document retrieval quality and flexibility. Focused on modular implementation in the rag module, the work enables faster onboarding of additional providers and future-proofs the retrieval backend architecture. Leveraging Python and API integration skills, the developer isolated the new feature to minimize risk and simplify ongoing maintenance. The integration aligns with business goals by broadening backend support and accelerating feature delivery, while configuration management practices ensured a clear extension path for future providers and maintained a focused, maintainable codebase.
