Chayton developed and delivered the Dify RAG provider integration for the bytedance/deer-flow repository, expanding the system’s retrieval-augmented generation capabilities. Using Python and leveraging skills in API integration and configuration management, Chayton implemented the new provider within the rag module, isolating the feature to minimize risk and simplify future maintenance. This integration broadened backend support, allowing for improved document retrieval quality and greater flexibility in onboarding additional providers. The technical approach focused on extensibility and future-proofing, aligning with business goals to accelerate feature delivery. The work demonstrated depth in backend architecture and thoughtful design for scalable, maintainable retrieval solutions.
