Worked on foundational tooling improvements for the mixxxdj/mixxx repository, focusing on reproducibility and streamlined development workflows. Established a Nix Flake-based development environment, enabling a reproducible dev shell and integrating pre-commit hooks to enforce code quality standards. The approach included explicit dependency management by specifying required Qt6 libraries, which reduced the overall dependency footprint and improved build reliability. Addressed code formatting consistency by fixing the clang-format pre-commit hook, providing early feedback on commits. Leveraged skills in Nix, build system configuration, and DevOps to lay the groundwork for faster onboarding, stable environments, and more reliable pull request reviews.
