Working in C, they addressed pointer type errors in functions responsible for input and output argument counts, which previously led to instability. By correctly assigning the ksmps variable during plugin initialization, they resolved a segmentation fault that had caused crashes during the plugin lifecycle. Their work in audio processing and plugin development enhanced the reliability and host compatibility of the DSSI plugin. Although the scope was limited to bug fixes, the changes contributed to a more robust and maintainable codebase.
