Worked on expanding internationalization in the sst/opencode repository by implementing Brazilian Portuguese locale support to enhance accessibility for Portuguese-speaking users in Brazil. Focused on front end development using TypeScript, the work included updates to language detection, dictionary imports, and UI text translations. This feature aligned with product goals to broaden market reach and improve user experience for a new audience. The technical approach ensured seamless integration of the new locale without introducing bugs, reflecting careful attention to localization readiness. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on delivering robust internationalization and supporting future scalability.
