Worked on enhancing S3 integration for the apache/gravitino repository by delivering a configurable path-style S3 access feature for the Iceberg REST Service Docker image. Introduced the GRAVITINO_S3_PATH_STYLE_ACCESS environment variable, allowing users to enable path-style access and thereby broaden compatibility with various S3-compatible storage solutions. The implementation involved updates to the Docker configuration rewrite script and comprehensive documentation improvements, streamlining developer onboarding and deployment processes. Focused on configuration management and DevOps practices, the work utilized Python and Markdown to ensure clarity and maintainability.
