During December 2025, Tairan Yao focused on enhancing the rustfs/rustfs repository by updating documentation to reflect changes in the runtime configuration, specifically the new console port 9001. He revised the project’s README using Markdown, ensuring that onboarding materials accurately matched the updated operational setup. This work improved traceability by linking documentation changes to a specific pull request, supporting auditability and streamlined code reviews. Tairan demonstrated strong documentation discipline and effective use of Git for change management. While the scope was limited to documentation, the update reduced onboarding time and minimized misconfigurations, contributing to smoother adoption of the RustFS console feature.
