Worked on the Adyen/adyen-web repository to deliver two targeted front end features over a two-month period, focusing on integration flexibility and security enhancements. Developed a flexible session initialization control using TypeScript and JavaScript, introducing an internal flag to bypass redundant setup steps when sessions are externally managed, which streamlined integration and reduced potential race conditions. Later, upgraded the PayByBankPix component’s biometric authentication by implementing the latest Passkey SDK, improving both security and performance. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to feature delivery, emphasizing maintainability and robust testing practices while addressing integration readiness and aligning authentication flows with current security standards.
