During November 2024, Ynbot automated pull request workflows across the ynput/ayon-core, ynput/ayon-nuke, and ynput/ayon-shotgrid repositories, focusing on streamlining project assignment and label validation. Leveraging GitHub Actions, Shell scripting, and YAML, Ynbot developed reusable CI/CD workflows that assign PRs to projects and enforce label correctness, reducing manual intervention and improving project tracking accuracy. The automation integrated with ops-repo-automation for consistent logic and governance, using main-branch alignment to ensure up-to-date validation. The work demonstrated depth in cross-repo workflow engineering, operational flexibility through manual triggers, and a focus on maintainability by standardizing automation across multiple repositories.
