Worked on the rdkcentral/meta-rdk-video repository to implement a vendor-agnostic configuration cleanup for the iarmmgr service, focusing on reducing vendor lock-in and simplifying the setup process. Refactored the service by removing vendor-specific environment variables and encapsulating environment-variable management within the vendor layer, which improved maintainability and clarified ownership boundaries. Utilized skills in configuration management, DevOps, and Linux administration, leveraging Python and Shell scripting to streamline the configuration workflow. Collaborated across teams using Jira for change tracking and governance, ensuring end-to-end traceability and disciplined code review. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery.
