Contributed to the BenElferink/odigos repository by developing enhanced diagnostics and observability features focused on production reliability and maintainability. The work centered on building profiling capabilities for Odiglets, including CPU, heap, goroutine, and allocation analysis, using Go and Kubernetes. Diagnostics for Odigos Destination CRDs were implemented to streamline issue detection, while metrics collection for the Cluster Collector improved cluster-wide monitoring and alerting. Log retrieval for previous pods was added to support post-restart analysis. Utility functions were refactored and reorganized to simplify future diagnostics workflows, resulting in a more maintainable codebase and accelerating root-cause analysis for system issues.
