Worked on the antinomyhq/forge repository to modernize configuration path handling, focusing on improving onboarding and reducing upgrade risks. Delivered a targeted refactor in Rust that unified the default Forge configuration home directory to ~/.forge, while maintaining a safe fallback to the legacy path for compatibility. This update centralized configuration path logic within the config module, enhancing maintainability and testability. The approach aligned default paths with standard user home conventions, minimizing deployment friction and user confusion. No critical bugs were reported during this period, as the primary emphasis was on quality improvements and robust configuration management using Rust and collaborative development practices.
