The approach centered on creating a dedicated JSON configuration file to capture domain ownership details and DNS settings, introducing a repeatable pattern for domain provisioning. Updated the username format and transitioned the DNS record type to CNAME to ensure reliable domain resolution and streamline setup for future domains. The work leveraged skills in DNS configuration, domain management, and configuration management, with all changes focused on establishing a maintainable and efficient process. No bugs were reported, reflecting a focused feature development cycle.
