Developed a new CRR package and checkpoint advancer for the pingcap/tidb repository, focusing on enhancing the reliability and efficiency of TiDB’s backup and restore pipeline. Leveraging Go for backend development, the work introduced modular logic to improve data synchronization and database management. The implementation prioritized data integrity and faster recovery by enabling more robust checkpointing and traceable commit histories, which support future maintenance and auditability. Throughout the project, the developer maintained clear end-to-end traceability from commits to issues and pull requests, ensuring maintainability and transparency. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery.
