Yukuo Tec contributed to the twentyhq/twenty repository by delivering Chinese localization for the minimalMetadata API, enabling zh-CN support for standard object labels and improving accessibility for Chinese-speaking users. Using TypeScript and GraphQL, Yukuo implemented a locale-aware resolution flow that passes locale context from the GraphQL resolver to the backend service, ensuring accurate label translation. The approach preserved user-defined configurations by localizing only non-custom objects and integrated with the existing internationalization infrastructure. This work established a maintainable foundation for broader i18n adoption, demonstrating thoughtful backend development and collaboration while addressing localization fidelity and technical alignment within the project.
