Worked on modernizing deployment tooling in the jhipster/generator-jhipster repository by delivering full compatibility with Helm 3. This involved updating deployment scripts and documentation to remove all references to Helm 2 and Tiller, streamlining the deployment process for Kubernetes environments. The approach focused on simplifying operational workflows and reducing friction for both new and existing users, making upgrades and onboarding more straightforward. Leveraged DevOps practices alongside Helm and Kubernetes expertise, with supporting work in JavaScript and TypeScript. The changes improved maintainability, reduced deployment complexity, and ensured the repository remains aligned with current cloud-native standards and best practices.
