Yun Gong developed comprehensive end-to-end and integration tests for the Articles feature in the ucsb-cs156-f24/team02-f24-12 repository, focusing on both administrative CRUD operations and public read-only access. Using Java, JUnit, and Playwright, Yun validated the behavior of the Articles API and web UI, ensuring that administrative capabilities were distinct from public access. The test suite enabled early regression detection and safer deployments by automating critical user flows. By leveraging Spring Boot and web testing techniques, Yun’s work improved the reliability of the feature and reduced production risk, demonstrating a strong grasp of integration testing and CI readiness.
