Yutong Song developed Azure Marketplace support for new HPC and AI virtual machine images in the Azure/azhpc-images repository, expanding available operating systems to include Ubuntu 24.04 and AlmaLinux 9.6. Leveraging skills in cloud computing, DevOps, and infrastructure as code, Yutong updated the image catalog and associated metadata to ensure seamless integration with existing deployment workflows. The work focused on enabling customers to deploy up-to-date images for high-performance computing and AI workloads with fewer manual steps. The implementation was validated for compatibility, minimizing onboarding friction and reducing the risk of breaking changes, reflecting a focused and well-scoped engineering contribution.
