Contributed to the netbox-community/devicetype-library by expanding device type coverage to include the Synology DS2015xs, delivering a new YAML specification that defines manufacturer, model, interfaces, and power ports. The work involved updating the model reference from DS218 to DS2015xs and correcting YAML indentation for the mgmt_only field to ensure data validity and consistency. Leveraging skills in YAML, data modeling, and device configuration, the developer enhanced the library’s support for Synology devices, improving data quality and inventory automation.
