Developed the DuckLink extension for DuckDB, enabling execution of WebAssembly components directly within the database environment. This work, contributed to the duckdb/community-extensions repository, focused on extending DuckDB’s capabilities by integrating WebAssembly processing for in-database analytics and modular extensibility. The implementation leveraged Rust for extension development and demonstrated proficiency in database extension architecture and WebAssembly integration. Delivered as a community extension, the project established foundational scaffolding to support future WASM-based components. No major bug fixes were reported during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and open-source collaboration to enhance DuckDB’s extensibility and support advanced analytics workflows.
