Worked on the grafana/tempo repository to enhance both security and scalability in backend systems. Addressed a TLS enforcement gap by ensuring the -tempo-push-tls flag reliably activates secure data transmission, aligning the OTLP exporter’s behavior with configuration and reducing misconfiguration risks. Built multi-tenant autoscaling support for Prometheus via KEDA, introducing new jsonnet configuration fields and centralizing trigger logic to streamline multi-tenant deployments. Collaborated on documentation and release processes, emphasizing maintainability and cross-team review. Leveraged Go, Kubernetes, and Prometheus expertise to deliver targeted improvements in backend reliability, security, and operational flexibility, laying groundwork for future multi-tenant autoscaling enhancements.
