During April 2025, contributed to the ecmwf/metkit repository by implementing support for a new ODB Feedback type code, 'ofa', aimed at enhancing analysis feedback handling. This work involved updating configuration assets, specifically language.yaml and type.table, to recognize and process the new feedback category, thereby expanding the system’s configurability. Leveraging skills in configuration management and proficiency with YAML, the changes laid the foundation for improved downstream analytics and data quality. The focus remained on feature development rather than bug fixes, resulting in a targeted enhancement that enables more granular feedback processing within the existing ODB analysis feedback infrastructure.
