Developed and delivered the Role Switch Plugin with Session Tracking for the obsidianmd/obsidian-releases repository, enabling users to seamlessly switch between different work roles while maintaining persistent session state. This feature addressed the need for improved multi-context productivity and reduced context-switch fatigue among power users. The work involved plugin development, JSON management, and close collaboration with the Obsidian community to ensure compatibility and smooth onboarding. The plugin was registered in the community plugins list to enhance discoverability and adoption. Throughout the process, Git-based workflows and commit hygiene were maintained, demonstrating alignment with release automation and ecosystem standards. No bugs were documented.
