Worked on the tursodatabase/turso repository to enhance CI/CD reliability and address a data integrity issue related to expression indexes. Developed a feature enabling reruns of cancelled CI jobs, improving the feedback loop and ensuring that automated tests validate the latest changes. Addressed a bug where dropping a column could disrupt expression indexes by preserving the sentinel value, maintaining data integrity across schema changes. Added a regression test to confirm correct expression index behavior after column drops, reducing the risk of silent failures in production. Utilized Rust for implementation, with a focus on database management and comprehensive testing throughout the process.
