Worked on maintaining and improving the Docker image pipeline for the elastic/connectors repository, focusing on build automation and Docker best practices. The main feature delivered involved updating the Dockerfile to enable non-interactive package management by adding the -y flag to microdnf update commands, which streamlined the build process and reduced the risk of build failures. Additionally, upgraded the xmltodict dependency to version 1.0.2 to enhance stability and compatibility. These changes ensured more deterministic and reproducible builds, aligning with security and maintenance standards. Demonstrated strong commit hygiene and traceability throughout the process, with all work implemented using Dockerfile.
