Rskaraya developed enhanced Unison language grammar and editor support for the helix-editor/helix repository, focusing on improving the accuracy and usability of Unison code editing. By updating syntax highlighting, refining indentation rules, and defining text objects, Rskaraya leveraged skills in code parsing and language grammar development to align the editor’s behavior with Unison’s unique constructs. The work, implemented using scm and toml, improved parsing accuracy and code display, reducing editing errors and cognitive load for Unison developers. Although the contribution was limited to a single feature over one month, it provided a solid foundation for future Unison support in Helix.
