Worked on the sonic-net/SONiC repository to enhance project documentation and governance processes. Improved the high-level design template by restructuring hld_template.md in Markdown, introducing numbered sections to clarify document flow and accelerate onboarding and design reviews. Later, delivered governance enhancements by creating a formal Maintainer Roster and Nomination Process, adding new Markdown documents to define maintainer eligibility, responsibilities, and approval workflows. Extended the pull request approval window to support more thorough code reviews. Focused on documentation, governance, and process management, these contributions strengthened onboarding, accountability, and consistency for maintainers and contributors across the SONiC open-source project.
