Zhao Shjie developed Metax device support for the TopkRouter component in the InfiniTensor/InfiniCore repository, enabling tensor operations optimized for the Metax accelerator. Working primarily in C++ with a focus on CUDA and GPU programming, Zhao introduced new integration header and source files and updated core routing logic to accommodate the new device. This work established a technical foundation for broader accelerator support, aligning with performance goals and future extensibility. By integrating Metax-specific optimizations into tensor operations, Zhao’s contribution enhanced the codebase’s readiness for additional device integrations and set the stage for ongoing performance tuning and hardware compatibility improvements.
