Worked on the Apache Shenyu repository, focusing on backend development using Java, Spring, and WebSocket technologies. Addressed a critical issue in the websocket plugin by correcting the reuse of the Websocket Client Spec Builder, which previously led to configuration errors and instability during runtime. The solution involved targeted changes to the plugin’s configuration logic, ensuring that each client specification was handled independently to prevent misconfiguration. This fix, delivered through a collaborative pull request, improved the reliability and maintainability of websocket connections in production environments. The work contributed to reducing downstream outages and enhancing the overall stability of the Shenyu framework.
