During November 2024, Mengmeng Zhao focused on enhancing performance diagnostics and reliability in the linux-test-project/ltp and sched-ext/scx repositories. Zhao addressed a cpuset test logging issue by refining shell scripting to ensure full log paths were captured, improving debugging efficiency for systems programming workflows. In sched-ext/scx, Zhao restructured the cache information display by replacing a HashMap with a BTreeMap in Rust, enabling L2/L3 cache data to be presented in ascending order for clearer analysis. The work demonstrated a strong grasp of data structures, debugging, and test automation, resulting in more readable outputs and streamlined triage for complex system tests.
