Developed Brotli compression support for FoundationNetworking within the mrousavy/swift repository, focusing on enhancing HTTP payload handling and reducing data transfer sizes. Integrated the Brotli library into the existing curl-based networking stack using CMake and Swift, updating build scripts and configuration files to support brotli-encoded payloads. Added comprehensive tests to the FoundationNetworking suite to validate Accept-Encoding handling and ensure reliable brotli decoding in client-facing flows. This work improved web data efficiency and performance for Swift applications. The implementation demonstrated proficiency in full stack development, leveraging PowerShell and Python for build automation and test orchestration throughout the development process.
