He introduced metadata-driven Pub/Sub subscription definitions in the terraform-google-modules/terraform-google-pubsub repository, allowing for flexible, per-module configuration of subscription types. Zheng’s work leveraged Go, HCL, and Makefile to expand test coverage and automate documentation generation, reducing configuration drift and streamlining onboarding for new modules.
