Worked on the acidanthera/audk repository to enhance the stability and reliability of DrvCfg command handling within UEFI development. Addressed a critical issue by removing an unconditional ASSERT that triggered a system halt when the FileName parameter was NULL, ensuring that such cases are now managed by downstream logic for invalid parameters. This change eliminated unintended system interruptions while preserving accurate failure reporting. The solution was implemented in C, leveraging expertise in shell command implementation and low-level firmware development. The work focused on targeted bug fixing, directly linking the update to an upstream Edk2 issue for traceability and technical clarity.
