
Contributed to TheDenSS14/TheDen by designing and enhancing multiple game maps, including Hive, Infinity, Eternity, Perpetuity, and Obsidian, over a five-month period. Focused on gameplay balance, player immersion, and safety, this work involved YAML-driven map editing, environment art, and system integration. Delivered features such as improved spawn logic, accessibility upgrades, new social spaces, and immersive NPC additions, while also addressing environment hazards and refining asset layouts. Emphasized maintainable, data-driven design and code hygiene through thorough testing, documentation, and adherence to licensing standards, resulting in richer player experiences and a scalable foundation for future map-driven content.
March 2026 — TheDen: Delivered Obsidian Map Immersion Enhancements in TheDen (TheDenSS14/TheDen). Implemented NPC diversity (boxers and martial artists), swapped the evacuation shuttle to a Seal variant to fit station size, and ensured workspaces have appropriate tools/equipment, increasing in-game realism. Completed live-test iteration (#2487) with targeted polish and stability checks across the map. Result: richer player immersion, smoother pacing, and improved developer tooling coverage for future iterations.
