Worked on improving the reliability and consistency of Web UI rendering in the Tencent/tdesign-flutter repository, focusing on resolving a persistent vertical text centering issue. Addressed this by introducing a dedicated height calibration logic and a standalone vertical-centering algorithm, moving away from padding-based solutions to achieve more accurate alignment. Enhanced the text height calculation by applying a 0.9x fontSize baseline and implemented compatibility handling for different Flutter versions. The work emphasized maintainable code structure, with clear documentation and standardized parameter alignment. Utilized Dart, Flutter, and web development skills to deliver a targeted bug fix that improved cross-version UI consistency.
