During December 2024, work focused on developing a Theme Toggle feature for the Shubhamsaboo/eliza repository, enabling users to switch seamlessly between dark and light modes. The implementation leveraged React and TypeScript, with CSS used for styling, and ensured that user preferences were persisted using localStorage. The ThemeToggle component was integrated directly into the application’s sidebar, providing quick access and maintaining consistent theming throughout the user interface. Theme initialization was designed to respect both stored user preferences and the system color scheme, laying the foundation for future accessibility and theming enhancements. No major bugs were reported during this period.
