Worked on the mattermost/mattermost-plugin-gitlab repository to streamline webhook payloads related to tag deletion events. Focused on backend development and API integration using Go, the developer addressed a bug by removing the URL from tag deletion webhook messages. This targeted change reduced unnecessary data transmission and improved the clarity of user-facing messages, while maintaining backward compatibility and ensuring reliability within the existing webhook flow. The solution was validated through established tests, confirming no regressions for tag deletion events.
