During March 2026, Zachary contributed to the getAlby/hub repository by delivering targeted SEO and accessibility improvements to the front end. He upgraded the codebase to React 19, leveraging both JavaScript and TypeScript to introduce document metadata support and implement page titles for previously untitled pages. This work addressed gaps in search engine visibility and improved compliance with accessibility standards. Zachary also refined the navigation structure by removing unnecessary React fragments, resulting in a cleaner rendering flow and enhanced compatibility with assistive technologies. The scope of work was focused but foundational, laying groundwork for future enhancements to the hub’s user experience.
