During August 2025, Shubhamsaboo contributed to the MiniCPM-V repository by updating documentation to support the release of MiniCPM-V 4.0. Shubhamsaboo revised both English and Chinese READMEs, ensuring that the new model version was clearly referenced and included in the list of models compatible with fine-tuning using Hugging Face Transformers and the LLaMA-Factory framework. The work focused on improving onboarding for researchers and engineers by clarifying model support and fine-tuning procedures. Using Markdown and documentation best practices, Shubhamsaboo’s updates enhanced discoverability and alignment with the project roadmap, though the scope was limited to documentation rather than code changes.
